   Hello!  My name is Corina Hossle, and I am a Birthing from Within Mentor and Doula, a certified doula with DONA, a childbirth educator, and a midwife.  However, before all of those things- I was (and am)a mother!

My "babies" are now 19, 23 and 23, and I am finally able to pursue my lifelong dream of serving and caring for women, mothers and babies.  My family teases me, saying I am in the midst of my "Midwife Crisis"!  I know I have been waiting many years to be in a position to devote myself to this work, and I am blessed by it every day.

I believe birth is a life changing experience and a rite of passage, making women into mothers, men into fathers, and bringing babies to life!  I believe women and babies are perfectly designed for birth, and our bodies hold the age old wisdom of how.  We have been birthing since the beginning of time...and we have been attended by women during those moments.  Midwives' tools and education has changed, but the role has not.  I offer compassionate care and guidance, so you may make educated and empowered choices. I am a firm believer this is your body, your baby and your birth.

I passed my National Midwifery Accreditation Registry (NARM) exam.
I am finishing my studies at National Midwifery Institute
I am certified in CPR, Neonatal Resuscitation, and Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics.
I spent 3 months at Casa de Nacimiento, a high volume birth center in El Paso, TX.  I studied under 6 different midwives.
I am a Birthing from Within Mentor and Doula.
I am a Doulas of North America trained birth doula (DONA).
I am currently provide midwifery services concurrently with Mary Euland, CPM.
I have attended over 100 births, serving as primary midwife for 40+ women and babies.

I also offer private and group childbirth education, as well as birth and postpartum doula services, to clients in  Springfield and surrounding areas.
